After visiting
Jens Kröners (german) page, which shows a perfect video-tutorial
how to build a vacuum-box for thermoforming polystyrene i gave it a try. Works perfect. Give his page a visit to learn how to build
such a box. Search for the term Tiefziehen. The video is easy to understand, even if you are not a native german speaker.
This engine was a birthday present from my good friend
Dieter. If you want to learn more about how
this very simple engine works, just ask google etc. for "simple lamina flow engine" and/or "Stirling engine".

The following scheme shows how to integrate a Jeti 2.4 GHZ Duplex-Tu module into
a Futaba FF9 TX. This solution is switchable between your old 72MHZ module and the new 2.4 GHZ Jeti, so that you can still use your
old receivers. Some german words translated: Umschalter = switch, Stecker = plug, Imp. = signal, Sender = TX, L/S Buchse = buddybox,
Lötpads = soldering pads, ein/aus = on/off.
I bought a Polaris 3in1 gps logger at ebay. Comes with a nice piece of software and
was just 16 Euro in my case. After a small modification (german link)
it weighs just 20 gramm and works flawlessly. This link shows how to add a
cable (german link) to run the device from
your rx. Data-export is via usb. You will get the visualised track and data about time, height, speed and length of course.
Following screenshots show a nine minute flight with a Multiplex Easyglider. Course was 6 kilometres long, max height was 303 metres agl, max speed was 98 km/h, average
speed was 41 km/h. It is possible to get all data in imperial notation, miles etc.
Chrissie is a tiny RC-Hovercraft, made from Depron after this
Plan.
Building Chrissie takes about two hours. Although i couldn't test her yet in a bigger hall it is clear, that Chrissie
is a fast little fun-modell. More info in this german Thread.
